Infertility is more common than many people think and it affects approximately 1:6 couples. There are a number of factors that can cause the condition and they affect both males & females equally with 30% attributed to the male, 30% to the female, 30% to both and in 10% of cases the cause of infertility is unknown.
Almost 90% of Infertility cases are treatable with medical therapies such as drug treatments, surgical repair of reproductive organs and assisted reproductive techniques such as IVF (In Vitro Fertilization).
